1. Cancellation of Work for Drive–In Customers

You have the right to cancel at any time before the instructed work has been carried out.
There will be no charge provided no costs have been incurred. Where costs have been incurred you will only pay for the work completed or the cost incurred (Eg delivery charges). Payment for costs incurred will be required prior to the removal of the vehicle. Deposits will be refunded only if no costs have been incurred. 2. Vehicle Storage Charges

Under normal conditions, no storage charges will be applied, however, storage charges will be payable to John Wood Tyres in relation to any abandoned vehicles or vehicles not collected from John Wood Tyres for a period of 30 days following completion of the work undertaken by John Wood Tyres on such vehicle.

3. Payment

All goods remain the property of John Wood Tyres until payment is received in full.
Face to face payment.
For drive-in customers, payment in full is required on completion of the work and prior to the removal of the vehicle.

4. Removed Parts

With the exception of service exchange parts, removed parts will be disposed by John Wood Tyres. Disposal will be in accordance with current environmental regulations and legislative requirements. A fee may be charged for this service.

5. Removed Wheels

Wheels which are removed from your vehicle to be replaced with Alloy wheels purchased from John Wood Tyres will be left with you, unless otherwise agreed with John Wood Tyres.

6. Exchanges

Subject to your statutory rights (which shall not be affected by this provision), once fitted to your vehicle a tyre, wheel or any other part cannot be exchanged, unless it has been covered under a warranty.

7. Refunds

Subject to your statutory rights (which shall not be affected by this provision), it is not possible to offer refunds after purchase for any parts that have been used on your car. If you believe that a tyre or wheel we have fitted is faulty, we will offer you the option of purchasing a replacement while the original part is sent to the manufacturer for analysis. If the manufacturer confirms that the product is faulty the cost of your replacement purchase will be refunded.

8. Account customers

All monthly accounts must be paid on the agreed date stated on the account application form.
All goods remain the property of John Wood Tyres until payment is received in full.

9. Wheel Alignment

Vehicle wheel alignment is affected by road conditions and driving circumstances and therefore John Wood Tyres cannot guaranty any wheel alignment. However, we do offer a free two week recheck. Should you have reason to believe that further adjustment is necessary after this time, we will check and re-adjust (if required) free of charge within 2-4 weeks of purchase.

10. Batteries

John Wood Tyres battery of choice is Exide. Exide come with a three year guaranty including labour to refit battery. Before this is undertaken John Wood Tyres will check the charging system on the vehicle, if there is a problem with the charging system the guaranty will be void.

11. Brakes

John Wood Tyres do not offer any guaranty on any parts fitted. If a problem occurs after work has been carried out, John Wood Tyres will do the upmost to fix the problem at a reasonable cost agreed with the customer first, unless otherwise stated.

12. Tyres

Any tyres fitted to customers cars by John Wood Tyres must be agreed to first by the customer and John Wood Tyres. (See Refunds and Exchanges for further information.)

14. Pricing

We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of goods is the price in force at the time of us accepting your order. If a product has been listed at a lower price by mistake and you have ordered that product, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, a full refund will be issued.

15. Fitting Of Wheels

Any wheels that have either been removed and refitted or new wheels fitted will always be checked by two separate John Wood Tyres technicians.
It is then the customers duty of care to check the wheel nut/bolt retention of their wheels after a short period of time (24 hours) from when the wheels were refitted.
