John Wood Tyres Opens Fifth Depot in Ledbury
We’re delighted to announce that John Wood Tyres Ledbury is officially open, marking another major milestone for our family-run business. After weeks of hard work behind the scenes, our brand-new depot at Unit 7, Bankside Industrial Estate, Little Marcle Road, Ledbury opened its doors on Monday 14 September. It becomes our fifth John Wood Tyres depot, joining our existing branches in Hereford, Rotherwas, Ross-on-Wye and Leominster. Our new Ledbury depot The opening follows a full refurbishment of the site, with a great deal of work taking place over recent weeks to transform the building and get everything ready for our first customers. The depot now features new signage, vehicle ramps and modern workshop equipment, together with a spacious customer reception and waiting area with free Wi-Fi and complimentary refreshments. Customers can visit the Ledbury team for tyres, brakes, wheel alignment, batteries and more, with the same friendly service and straightforward advice available across all of our branches. Investing in the latest equipment A key part of the new workshop is our state-of-the-art wheel alignment equipment. With potholes continuing to cause problems on roads across Herefordshire, wheel alignment is becoming increasingly important. Even a relatively minor impact with a pothole can affect alignment, leading to uneven tyre wear and potentially reducing the life of a tyre. Meet Dan, our Ledbury Depot Manager Leading our new Ledbury team is Dan, who has been promoted to Depot Manager following three years with John Wood Tyres. Dan joined the business in 2023 as part of our Hereford team, before moving across to our Leominster depot to support its continued expansion. Having gained experience at two of our established branches, Dan now takes the next step in his career with responsibility for our newest depot. He and the team are looking forward to welcoming customers from Ledbury and the surrounding area. Growing across Herefordshire John Wood Tyres has been serving motorists across Herefordshire for more than 50 years and opening in Ledbury is something we have wanted to do for some time. As an independent, family-run business, our growth has always been about more than simply adding new locations. The opening of Ledbury allows us to bring that service closer to customers in another part of the county while continuing to strengthen our network across Herefordshire.
