Greg & Lea are mainly based at our Hereford depot and have a fantastic team of tyre technicians who have a wealth of experience and knowledge.

John Woods Tyres is the only garage I have ever been to where I didn't feel ripped off in some way afterwards. I had an issue with my car making an awful noise for weeks, the MOT garage was supposed to fix it but didn't bother and added it on as an advisory for something that it wasn't. So I emailed JWT, Greg said I could bring it down for them to try and see what it was. I took it into the garage and Ed on the desk was really helpful and you could see in his face he was pretty sure what the problem was right off the bat without even looking.
Within the hour it was sorted. It was a lose bolt/nut that the MOT garage completely missed despite replacing a part right next to it. Not only that, Ed had a video of the problem to show me so it wasn't a case of wondering if the "broken left phalange carbonator" was made up for effect.
I won't go into detail, but suffice to say this is where I'll be going from now on.
Furthermore, the reception was bright, clean and carpeted. Not the oily concrete shed covered in paperwork you get everywhere else, and sofas in the show room as a waiting area!

I found myself in a real last-minute situation, needing four new tyres at 5:20pm on a Friday, just before setting off on a trip to France. Despite it being late on a Friday afternoon, Gregg couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, he went above and beyond to get everything sorted quickly and professionally.
The customer service was outstanding from start to finish, and it's refreshing to find a business that genuinely cares about helping its customers, even at the end of a busy week. The tyres were fitted efficiently, and I left feeling confident and ready for my journey.

Very helpful chaps , I needed my tyre pressure checked on all wheels and they did it straight away, found the problem tyre which was perished and had a new one put on two days later, I didn't make an appointment and they were busy but only had to wait around 30 minutes. Excellent.

Had them come yesterday to fit me 2 new back tyres from home.As I have health difficulties. Forgot the name of the fitter,but excellent service,really good and quick.Been going to them for over 40 years now,always friendly and helpful.

Great service from John Wood Tyres. They booked me in the very next morning to fix a bent alloy after I hit a pothole.
When I went to collect the wheel the next morning, I asked if they could swap my wheels back over, and they did it straight away at no extra charge.

Excellent! Called in late Saturday morning with a screw in the rear tyre. They were helpful, friendly and managed to fit me in without an appointment although busy.
Screw removed, no damage to the tyre so no repair necessary and did not charge me a penny for the work.
Outstanding in this day and age especially when other national chains would have probably charged for a new tyre regardless!
Highly recommended local company.

What happened to service with a smile .called in for a puncture. Went around the back as not sure where to go .asked on lad who just said nothing other sent me around to reception where you lady didn't even speak gets up and walked off finally got to say what I wanted told it was going to be hour or more . So went elsewhere and sorted within 20 minutes.

Brilliant service would recommend! Had a suspected slow puncture which they sorted within a couple of hours. Very close to town so can grab a coffee or shop whilst waiting.

These guys were really helpful when we turned up with a leaking tyre close to closing time on a Friday afternoon. And very honest about being able to reseal, rather than needing to replace. Definitely went the extra mile for us!

I've been using these guys since I passed my test. They have always been absolutely brilliant. Greg and Lee, I've normally dealt with, and they've always fitted us in, even later in the day. Booked the night before and turned up early very friendly and examined tyre to see if it could be fixed. Had to replace tyre but advised on type of tyres to get going forward. Great job and efficient business. Used them before and will use them again.

Took my van in for 4 new tyres happy with cost tyres etc , apart from not carried out tracking was told had forgotten to do it even though it was on job sheet waited half an hour extra , fine paid after checking tyres all good until I went to drive away dirty oily handprints on door handles steering wheel and gearstick, come on guys I know it's a van but wheres the respect for othe people's property, not good customer service really is it ?, not happy. I have been coming here for a few years now. Very polite and professional staff, competitive prices. Conveniently sited you can leave your vehicle there and pop into town rather than just wait. Clean toilets.
