John Wood Tyres, has extended heartfelt thanks to its loyal customers for their incredible support during the recent Breast Cancer Awareness promotion. Through this special campaign, customers who purchased Radar Tyres during October contributed directly to funding vital research and support services for individuals affected by breast cancer. “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown by our customers,” Greg Wood, Managing Director, shared. “Thanks to your support, we’re proud to be passing on these funds to help this important cause.” The initiative was run in collaboration with Breast Cancer Now, a leading research and support charity, underscoring John Wood Tyres’ ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and promoting meaningful causes.

Renowned tyre firm continues sponsorship of our Venus Midnight Walk We’re delighted that John Wood Tyres is continuing its support of St Michael’s by again sponsoring our Venus Midnight Walk. Lea and Greg, from the renowned tyre business based on St Owen Street in Hereford, got into the mood by posing with the t-shirts which will be proudly worn by our ladies at Venus night on Friday, 11th July. John Wood Tyres told us: “We’re extremely proud to support the Venus Walk for St Michael’s Hospice again this year. It’s a privilege to contribute to such meaningful work in our local community.” What an incredible night! Together, you helped raise over £27,000 for St Michael’s Hospice As a thank you, everyone who raised £100+ in sponsorship was entered into a prize draw to win Love to Shop vouchers and a free wheel alignment, kindly donated by our amazing event sponsors John Wood Tyres.
St Michael’s Hospice
In the last year, the Hospice at Home team based at St Michael’s Hospice has covered almost 100,000 miles. To ensure they remain mobile and able to reach the most remote parts of our beautiful county, John Wood Tyres will help ensure the tyres on the five KGM Tivoli’s will remain in tip-top condition. Here’s Greg from John Wood Tyres, with Gemma from the Hospice at Home team, beside one of the cars which have been provided by KGM Hereford, trading as Hereford Motor Group Ltd. *St Michael’s Hospice and Marie Curie partner with the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board to provide the Herefordshire Hospice at Home service.

Venus Midnight Walk
We, at John Wood Tyres are proud to sponsor this year’s..VENUS MIDNIGHT WALK on 12th July 2024! Hereford’s Biggest Girls Night Out! The Venus Midnight walk is one of St – Michael’s Hospices most-popular events! In 2024 it returns for its 16th year and will be extra special, as it’s also commemorating 40 years of St Michael’s Hospice. Venus is a walk around Hereford in memory of someone you miss, adorned in pink. Don’t forget to grab your glow sticks and reflective bands so everyone can see you and enjoy a fun well supported night.
